February 3, 2011
2010 has been another landmark year for the field of corporate compliance. This program will review important recent legal developments - both in the U.S. and elsewhere - regarding compliance programs, with a focus on standards issued in 2010 governing compliance program design and implementation and how companies should respond to them. The session will also feature "deep dives" into three best-practices programs, and offer practical, cutting edge approaches to staying ahead of the compliance risk curve. Topics to be covered include: œ How to develop and implement an effective anti-corruption compliance program - presented by a former senior FCPA prosecutor who is now a co-general counsel/chief compliance officer for a global company. œ Global compliance and privacy: intersection or collision? - presented by a chief privacy officer who has developed and managed a global compliance program. œ "What works - and what doesn't" - presented by a lawyer with more than 20 years' experience in designing and managing compliance programs.
