Is legal professionalism on the line as new technology enters the e-discovery realm? What skills and knowledge will counsel need to meet judicial expectations and ethical obligations, and avoid the risk of sanctions? This program will consider the impact of evolving technology from the perspective of both the bench and the practitioner. From ambiguous rules to ethical considerations, we will explore the challenges technology creates and help demystify the world of electronic data and social media, focusing on the e-discovery lifecycle of preservation, collection, review and production. Gain practical insight into procedures and tools that promote accuracy, reduce cost, and provide defensibility.
