This program looks at some of the basic issues relating to the use of entities in transactions. Among the topics that will be covered will be the differences and similarities of business entities; how different entities are used for different purposes; how entities are controlled, and how they make business decisions; the main differences between private and public companies; the relationship between parents and subsidiaries; and closing documents that are customary in transactions involving entities.
