This program will provide an overview of recent federal changes to Medicare and Medicaid, compare the different proposals for change and provide an analysis of their impact on NYS Budget Bill. There will be a document drafting update, with suggestions for updating trusts, Medicaid planning tools and advanced directives to comply with the new regulations. The panel with also discuss Medicaid Redesign one year later (what is working and what isn't) with a focus on home care services and managed care.
