Join us to hear this nationally renowned ethicist address current issues in legal ethics. In this unique program, Professor Gillers typically features eight to nine distinct topics, chosen close in time to the event to maximize topicality. Some of these pertain to specific areas of law practice including civil and criminal litigation and corporate and transactional work. Issues common to all areas of practice-for example, rules governing fees, conflicts of interest, confidentiality and privilege, unauthorized law practice by lawyers, the no-contact rule, and malpractice and liability to non-clients-are also included. The topics are geared toward an audience of diverse interests. Audience questions and comments are encouraged. This program will not be available on tape. You only get one chance to see it-Live!
