Health care has been and remains an industry in turmoil. The combination of higher expenses and lower payor revenues has resulted in hospital closures and consolidations. This program discusses the legal and practical issues unique to distressed hospitals, nursing homes and other service providers. It will address the interplay between regulatory issues and the Bankruptcy Code. The panelists will also address business and financial issues facing distressed health care providers, as well as the legal ones.
