In today's most dynamic and evolving industries, it is not surprising to find that a company's most important assets are intangible. This panel will discuss some of the strategic choices that companies must make when their intellectual property assumes a primary role in their business plan. Specifically, the panel will touch upon the issues of patent quality, patent trolls, possible remedies and problem jurisdictions. For each topic, the panel will highlight current best practices, and will also discuss how those practices could be affected by the passage of the Patent Reform Act.
