Today's art investors require a comprehensive art succession plan tailored to their private collection which will preserve and protect the value of their art assets for future generations.With art emerging as a key asset class, issues arising out of how it is transferred across generations are increasingly complex. Collectors and their advisors may encounter numerous issues in transferring their art by sale, donation, gift, or bequest. This program convened a group of experienced practitioners to explain the tax, legal, and practical considerations of transferring art, and provided practice tips for avoiding unforeseen adverse results.
